Disney Springs
Disney Springs is a outdoor shopping mall with over 96 stores, including the World of Disney. Lots of places to dine, from quick service locations to full on sit down restuarants. There's so much food to try, you'll be lost what to choose, from burgers to sandwiches, sushi to Italian and everything in between including desserts! Parking is free whilst shopping and dining at Disney Springs and they have 5 large parking garages though most of the time only 3 are in use. Lime and Orange are the most popular are they are the closest to the shops and dining locations. It is advised to arrive an hour ahead of time if you are going to any entertainment or a restuarant as it does get very busy. It's also good to note that you will be required to be bag checked at security before entering Disney Springs and this can also take up time so be prepared for that.
There is a huge Cinema, AMC at Disney Springs if you fancy watching a movie. There are 24 screens in total and 6 of them are dine in, so you can grab your tickets, find your seat and relax as the menu will come to you. No more trying to find your seat whilst holding your food hoping it doesn't fall on the floor!
Disney Springs also have different entertainment throughout the months, so do take a look at their website to see if there is anything on that you would like. With the Art of Disney store, sometimes you can get the artist there to sign a peice of their artwork which is wonderful to see, and they do also sometimes draw whilst in the store. There are live bands, a bowling alley, Vintage Amphicar tours (these cost about $125 per car and can fit 3-4 guests), take a balloon flight where you can see 10 miles around you on a clear day (adults are $29.99 + tax, children are $24.99 + tax).
Cirque du Soleil brings a different take of their shows to Disney Springs, Drawn to Life. Amazing acrobatics bringing to life the very animations in a twist from Walt Disney Animation Studios. The shows happen Wednesday to Saturday at 17:30pm and 20:00pm and also on Sunday's at 13:30pm and 16:00pm. Prices vary depending on where you are sitting but start from $75 + tax upwards of $258 + tax for a signature experience. The best seats are the golden circle as they are in the middle with a great view of the stage.
The World of Disney is the largest Disney store in the world. At 51,000 square feet, you can be sure to find something that you like, from toys, clothing, homeware such as cups, dish towels, ears for the parks, loungefly and so much more.
Gideon's Bakehouse - if you have a sweet tooth, this is the place to go. With cookies that are nearly 1/lb each, they have different flavours each month as well! You can buy merchandise, cookies, cakes and more! Be sure to get there first thing in the morning as the line gets very long and after a certain amount of time, it will go into a virtual queue.
There is also a Lego store which gets busy pretty much from opening until closing and queues can go all the way round the store so be prepared to wait to get in. They have lots of different ranges to choose from, Disney, Star wars, Minecraft, Duplo and much more.
If you're looking for Jewellery then there are a few locations at Disney Springs but one to mention if you're looking for something a bit different is Na Hoku. Na Hoku is Hawaii's finest jewellery and was established in 1924 and offers a lot of different pieces that you won't find anywhere else. From their most famous flower, the Plumeria (left pic),to palm trees,sea life (right pic), pearls, diamonds and all sorts of the precious gems.
They have different collections with matching items should you so wish and prices vary depending on what you're looking for but there is something for everyone no matter your budget.
