Island of Adventure
Island of Adventure is right next door to Universal Studios and is filled with amazing rides you won't want to miss!
Coming from the front of the park and moving towards to the left you will find, Marvel Super Hero Island, Toon Lagoon, Skull Island. In the middle is Jurassic Park. moving towards the right, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade and Seuss Landing.
There are different places to eat around the park, offering, Pizza, pasta, burgers, hot dogs, salads, tatertots (potato barrels covered in sauce and toppings, omg, so good!) Cookies and Ice Cream are also available.
There are rides in all of the lands for all the family to enjoy, be prepared to bring a spare pair of clothes should you go on Popeye and Bluto's Bilge Rat Barges or Dudley Do-Right's ripsaw Falls, as you will get wet, just kidding, you'll get soaked!
The main rides in this park that stand out, The Hulk, Jurassic World's VelociCoaster, front row is awesome for this ride so do wait a bit extra for it, we promise, it's worth it. 😉 and Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. This ride gets extremely busy even now after it opened in 2019. As soon as the park opens, everyone runs to this ride to get in line and wait times can sometimes hit 2 - 3 hours by the time 30 minutes have passed since the park opened.
Express passes can be purchased for all rides other than: Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and Pteranodon Flyers. There are two different Express Passes you can buy, 2 Park Universal Express unlimited passes and 2 Park Universal Express Pass, which can be used over Universal Studios and Island of adventure. The difference between the two, Unlimited pass means you can go on any of the rides as many times as you like during the day and the Universal Express pass means you can only go on the ride once. The prices for these Express passes can widely vary depending on the date you are going, anything from $109 all the way upto $360! The holidays, ie, June, July, August, November and December is where you will see the highest prices normally as it's typically the busiest time. During the weekday can be cheaper but again it really can vary and it's best to look on the Universal Studios Orlando app to view the dates you are going for the most accurate prices. If you're only going to Universal Studios/Island of Adventure once then you might find these to be worth your while. (Note, the Premier Resort Hotels for Universal do offer the unlimited express passes for free when you're staying there so this might be something to consider, for more information, please see the Resort tab)
