At Animal Kingdom, there are so many animals to see you'll loose count of the ones you did see and didn't so be sure to take lots of photos! There is a safari at the back of the park which is wonderful to see the animals roaming around in the habitat and the best time to see the animals is early morning when it's not too hot. You'll be able to Elephants, Lions, Cattle, Rhino's, Giraffes, Hippos, Famingoes, Zebras as well as birds.
In the park you'll also be able to see Gorilla's and go through the trail to see other types of animals. There are some other animals around different locations around the park so be sure to keep a look out, like for the otters in the middle of the park.
There are different areas in the park, starting with the Oasis as you walk through from the entrance, going to the left you will find: Pandora - World of Avatar and Africa, moving to the right of the park, Asia and Dinoland U.S.A. In the middle of the park you will find the Discovery Island.
Animal Kingdom is one of the more quieter parks as due to the animals there are no fireworks at night however in the morning it can be quiet busy to due many people wanting to go to Flight of Passage in Pandora but it's certainly manageable.
There are lockers at Animal Kingdom however they are located at the front of the park only and currently prices are $10 for a small and $12 for a large. You can open and close it as much as you like as you rent the locker for the whole day.
Animal Kingdom is also home to Pandora, this land comes alive at night with the luminescent flooring which is a treat to see.
Valley of Mo'ara is breathtaking, the floating mountains, lush greenery and flowers, you just won't know where to look!
Flight of passage is a ride that is not to be missed, this is a 3D experience ride where you can ride an amazing creature for the rite of passage. You'll be able to smell, see and even feel the journey as you make your way through. This ride gets extremely busy at it's the most popular ride in the park so make sure you either get to the park before opening or get a lightning lane pass.
You also have Na'vi River Journey which is a small boat ride which is suitable for all ages and be sure for everyone to enjoy.
You also have Expedition Everest where you can see the runaway Yeti in the snowy mountain.

Flame Tree Barbecue is a place we visit often as it's great value for money due to the portion sizes which are easily shareable between people and offers Ribs, Chicken and Pulled pork plates as well as offering a plant based option.
If you're looking for a character dining option, then you have Tusker House where you can meet Donald Duck in his safari outfit! This restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Rainforest Cafe is just outside the main entrance of Animal Kingdom and does some really great food options which are again easily shareable between people.
