With 5 new lands to discover: Celestial Park, Dark Universe, Super Nintendo World, How to train your dragon, Isle of Berk and The wizarding world of Harry Potter, Ministry of Magic. You won't know which one to run to first!
Each world completely different in its own right, there is so much to offer at this new park. With it's own very hotel right at the back of the park, Helios Grand, there really isn't much more you could ask for. The stunning views from the hotel, you really will think you're dreaming!
You'll never get bored with the lack of food options here in the park as there is something for everyone!
Celestrial Park
As you step inside of Epic Universe, you are greeted by Celestrial Park - wonders of lush greenery and waterfalls. Two paths taking you towards amazing lands - take the left path and this takes you towards Nintendo World and Dark Universe. Take the right path and this will wiz you along to How to train your Dragon - Isle of Berk and Harry Potter - The Ministry of Magic.
In Celestrial Park, you will find the Constellation Carousel which is family friendly for all, located closer to the back of the park. To the right of the park, nestled between How to Train your Dragon and Harry Potter, is Stardust Racers. A thrilling ride which can reach speeds of 62mph and reach heights of 133 feet!
There are different food options here, including Atlantic - serving seafood and steak. The Blue Dragon - an Pan Asian style restaurant. The Oak and Star Tavern where you can get BBQ platters, burgers, salads, desserts and drinks. In the mood for Pizza? Then look no further than Pizza Moon, serving Pizza, Pastas and salads.
The fountains offer entertainment throughout the day and night, something about watching them at night though - really makes your day!
Dark Universe
This spooky land is every bit of what you would expect to see - a village that is home to the creatures of the night. Werewolves, vampires, Frankenstein and more...
Here you will find 2 rides, Curse of the werewolf, being a rollercoaster that spins you around through the woods and Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment - an insight into Dr Victoria Frankenstein's world with very realistic animatronics. You can also have your face painted (adults included) to look just like your favourite monster - this is a paid for experience that does need to be prebook on the Universal app.
You have a couple of dining places to eat here, Das Stakehaus - serving, well you name it - Steaks, burgers, wings, pork, salads and desserts. The Burning Blade Tavern - a smaller menu with handheld items such a the garlic stake (a pretzel shaped stake with garlic dipping sauce) loaded potato, burger and specialty beverages.
Certain characters roam throughout the land, so you never know who might just be wanting to take your breath away...
How to Train your Dragon - Isle of Berk
If you love the films, then you'll absolutely fall in love with this stunning land. With baby dragons and toothless to meet, alongside the amazing show to the mist breathing dragon, you really won't know where to start!
There are 3 different rides here, Hiccups Wing Gliders, Dragon Racers Rally and Fyre Drill - prepare to get wet on this one 🤣. There is also a Viking Training camp for kids to run of their energy and be prepared to encounter the dragons!
You'll find some tasty snacks here, the mac n cheese cones which can be purchased from Hooligan's Grog and Cruel, Mead Hall - serving large meat platters, enough to feed a family of 3-4, as well as salads burgers and desserts. Spit Fyre Grill - offering different types of bowls, Salmon, Steak, Chicken, Shrimp and even a vegan option. You can also buy the mac n cheese cones from this location.
Super Nintendo World
This very immersive world will really brighten your day with the bright colours surrounding this land, you might need your sunglasses!
Here you can meet some of your favourite characters such as Princess Peach, Toad, Mario and Luigi.
There are 2 rides available, Mario Kart Madness - Bowsers Challenge - a 3D/4D experience and Yoshi's Adventure - a cute little ride circling the land.
If you're hungry, the do head over to Toadstools café - where you can get a 1lb Meatball meal! They also offer burgers, soup, salads and desserts - all themed to Super Nintendo World.
In Donkey Kong Country, you can also meet him in this land as well as going on the Mine Cart Madness roller coaster! If you're after something sweet, then look no further than The Bubbly Barrel - serving soft serve ice cream with a bubble waffle cone.
The interactive bands you can purchase from different shops and create your own user on the Universal App, starting at $45 + tax. This activicty is something the whole family can enjoy and join intogether collecting coins and stamps. Once you have the 5 keys, you can then head over to Bowser Jnr's Lair!
The Wizarding world of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic
If you're dream is to become a wizard, then you'll be in the right place. Purchase a interactive wand and be sure to cast those spells at the windows of this beautiful land. These wands start at $63 + tax and upwards depending on the wand you go for. At this time, you have the 2 different generations of wands, the first generation you can use at Universal Studios, Island of Adventure and Epic Universe to a degree. The second generation wand you can have a more emersive expererince as it can unlock more magic using the app, with more hidden spells and adventures also with connecting with fellow wizards!
The only ride in this land, Harry Potter and the Battle of the Ministry, is certainly not one to be missed but be prepared to wait in long lines as this is a very popular ride and the wait times can sometimes reach over 4 hours!
If you're looking for a bite to eat, you have Cafe L'air De La Sirene offering French Cuisine from Quich, french onion soup, croissants and more. Something you need to try, is the Butterbeer! This tasty drink comes in 3 different varieties, Hot (this can be hit and miss at the moment at Epic, as sometimes you can get it and sometimes you can't. If you want to try the Hot version, then head over to Islands of Adventure or Universal Studios where this is offered all year round) Frozen and cold. You can also get Butterbeer treats, such as ice cream, fudge and potted cream.
If you're looking for some downtime out the sun, then be sure to head to the show Le Cirque Arcanus - showcasing some skilled actors and amazing special effects.
